about Sawada gohan

Sawada gohan, established in 1915, is a long-standing rice store located in Hokuto City, Hokkaido. With the theme of "proposing delicious ways to eat rice," they focus not only on selling rice but also on developing original products such as "sweets that only a rice shop can create."

product

To develop snacks, they received certification for an agriculture-commerce-industry collaboration project from the Hokkaido Bureau of Economy, Trade and Industry, and set up their own factory. With technical support from the Hokkaido Food Processing Research Center, they have established manufacturing techniques that avoid the use of oil, artificial flavors, and other additives.

ingredients

Their sweets are free from oil, artificial flavors, and additives, focusing on the natural qualities of the ingredients. They use white rice from the Fukkurinko variety, which is specially cultivated with reduced pesticides and chemical fertilizers compared to conventional farming methods.
